Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is seeking a senior IT Project Manager for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Financial Services clients in lower Manhattan, NYC. Hybrid – 2 days/week in the office required.
The role will serve as a Project Manager in the Technology Governance Office, supporting IT remediation activities for U.S. related to regulatory finding(s). This person will serve as a Workstream Coordinator for two U.S. remediation workstreams – Strategy & Funding and Change Management.
Contribute to the overall success of Technology for Global Banking and Markets by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.
Ensure all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
- Act as workstream coordinator for U.S. CIO:
- Collect status updates and evidence from workstream task owners
- Review evidence and organize milestone issue closure packages
- Provide overall workstream status reporting on a bi-weekly basis
- Work closely with technology partners on tracking remediation action plans.
- Ensure governance is in place during workstream meetings that decisions and actions are properly minuted.
- Escalate risks, issues and dependencies to workstream lead and management.
- Maintain appropriate documentation and evidence throughout the remediation process, keeping the evidence repositories updated.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Project Management
- Technology
- Issue Management (e.g., execution tracking, risk evaluation, escalation, reporting)
- Audit Management (e.g., governance, audit, control functions, compliance, risk management)
- Excellent judgment and organizational skills
- Excellent writing and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work simultaneously on various tasks, independently and to completion
- Attentive to detail
