Senior IT Specialist - Secret Clearance Required - Piper Companies

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior IT Specialist to provide IT and Cyber Support for the Marine Corps. This position is fully onsite in Kansas City, MO.

**Secret Clearance Required**

Responsibilities:

·      Perform advanced systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting in order to maintain optimum Information Technology (IT) system operations.

·      Design and oversee upgrades and new installs of IT systems and services ensuring coordination with Cyber Security Specialist.

·      Perform Tier III upgrades of networking systems, IT systems, and storage networking.

·      Perform Tier III troubleshooting, optimization, and performance management of Internet Protocol (IP), Domain Name System (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and routing protocols. Integrate enterprise, regional, and local IT systems ensuring current network operations are sustained or oversee their recovery.

·      Ten plus (10+) years of IT experience including Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Network Address Translation (NAT).

Required Skills:

• 10+ Years of IT Experience
• Experience with Tier 2/3 Support, Active Directory, Windows Administration, Remedy Ticketing Systems, Network support
• IAT II Certification (Sec+ or equivalent)
• CCNP, CCDP, MTA, MCSA, or MCTS
  • MCSA - need some associate level microsoft cert (any track)
  • MTA - need any fundamentals certification (older certs work as well)
• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree (can sub with YOE)

Compensation:

95,000-,105,000k- depending on years of experience and degree
