Experience integrating with external components and APIs and working with schemas is important
The candidate must also be able to test their software at all levels (unit test, integration test, system test), and will be responsible for deploying and maintaining operational and test systems, along with troubleshooting ad hoc site issues as they come up.Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely.#SWSDRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Must be a US Citizen who is eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearanceBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 8+ years of experience.Strong Java, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm experienceStrong Java foundation, including:Write unit tests in JUnitAbility to debug source codeUse Maven to manage dependencies and package softwareWork with third-party libraries and documentationWrite robust code with appropriate error checking and handlingExperience with managed container development and deployment technologiesWriting Dockerfile specifications and working with docker images/containersDeveloping helm charts and deploying applications to Kubernetes environmentsUnderstand complex system architectures and debug errors spanning multiple componentsMust have a strong understanding of sound software development principles and practicesMust be able to plan and prioritize personal tasking and be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writingMust be an independent thinker, capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team, in a fast-moving environment.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Experience in software development on Agile teams using Agile Developer practicesFamiliar with Rancher, RHEL 8 and Java17 platformFamiliar with Spring BootFamiliar with Postgres DB, Kafka and RedisExperience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology, SAFe Agilest Certification, or past experience as a member of an agile team.Experience with React.js, Angular.js or Ember.jsPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures
However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience
