This international banking/financial services industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opportunity (with strong chance for conversion) in Irving, TX for a Senior Java Developer experienced with Eclipse Plug-In Development, version 4.6 or greater.

This group is responsible for the engineering and operation for the systems (z/TPF) that supports the retail authorization applications. This systems supports the customer visible touchpoints such as ATM's, Home Banking, Mobile applications and branch support. This team is also responsible for all the software migration, automation and quality assurance that supports these systems.

Job description
This international banking/financial services industry leader has an immediate 12+ month contract opportunity (with strong chance for conversion) in Irving, TX for a Senior Java Developer experienced with Eclipse Plug-In Development, version 4.6 or greater.
This position requires:
- 7+ years of Java development experience
- Experience in developing Eclipse plug-ins, RCP, OSGi
- Experience in PDE (Plug-in Development Environment), SWT (Standard Widget Toolkit), Project Explorer, Remote System Explorer, Extension points, Menus
- Experience with Eclipse 4.6 (neon) or higher is required.
- Strong scripting skills (Perl, Shell, Windows Batch)
- Strong skills on Windows server and Linux (RHEL) environments
Plus:
- Familiar with Rational Tools Suite (Clear Case, Clear Quest)
- Mainframe experience (z/TPF)
