our client, a Global Technology, e-commerce, and Shipping Company is seeking a Senior Java Developer to design and build out a private and public API Layer. You will be responsible for hands-on Java development, within the Spring / Hibernate Framework to assist with the creation and building of RESTful API's.
Responsibilities and Required Skills:
. 5+ years experience, and proficiency with server side technologies: JAVA, JPA, Spring, Hibernate, and/or Eclipse Link.Location: Danbury, CT

You will be responsible for hands-on Java development, within the Spring / Hibernate Framework to assist with the creation and building of RESTful API's.
Responsibilities and Required Skills:
. REST API creation experience is preferred; REST API consumption, and working knowledge of REST API principles is required
. Design and develop a cloud based scalable, extensible, reliable and maintainable RESTful API platform
. MUST HAVE experience with Test Driven Development, and an understanding of continuous integration
. JUnit experience is highly preferred
. Exposure to Liquibase is a big plus
. Great communication skills, with the ability to be work well in a collaborative team
