WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full Time Licensed Sr. Landscape Architect for our St. Louis, Missouri office.

Your Impact
• Lead varied Landscape Architectural Design Tasks as assigned by Group Leader
• Produce Contract Documents to Client requirements and within WSP quality standards
• Apply Landscape Architectural Design skills to larger multidisciplinary projects
• Provide Support to other LA Design Associates in the completion of larger and complex design assignments
• Mentor younger LA and other entry level profession staff as opportunities arise
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor or Masters of Landscape Architecture Degree
• Minimum 5 years professional Landscape Architectural Design experience
• Licensed Landscape Architect with CLARB Certification or willing to become licensed within 3 years
• Proficiency with Autocad or Microstation or Open Roads Designer, Sketchup and or other visualization software and Microsoft office suite Word, Excel and Power Point
• Demonstrated experience preparing conceptual level design plans, sections, elevations and perspective renderings and or simulations suitable for client presentation.
• Demonstrated experience in completing Landscape Architectural design tasks from conceptual, design development through final design construction document preparation i.e Plans, Specifications and Cost Estimating
• Demonstrated experience in Landscape Architectural construction detailing
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience, working within a multidisciplinary architectural or engineering firm
• Confidence in your ability to sketch and render plans and perspectives by hand
• Knowledge and skill in technical writing for project deliverables such as reports, analysis, conceptual design summaries, meeting minutes and other related project tasks.
• Desire to assist with marketing activities, proposal preparation, maintaining contacts with select clients and investigating potential project opportunities.
