Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Lead Proxy Engineer to lead and manage our enterprise proxy infrastructure. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our proxy solutions, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will also play a key role in our migration to a cloud-based proxy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architecture and Design: Design and implement robust, scalable proxy solutions that meet the organization's needs.
• Implementation and Migration: Lead the migration of existing proxy infrastructure to cloud-based solutions (e.g., Zscaler, Netskope).
• Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert-level troubleshooting and support for complex proxy-related issues.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize proxy performance to ensure optimal user experience.
• Security: Implement and maintain security policies and configurations to protect against threats.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with proxy vendors and ensure optimal product utilization.
• Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of the latest proxy technologies and evaluate their potential for the organization.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering or information security, with a strong focus on proxy technologies.
• Deep understanding of proxy architectures, protocols, and security best practices.
• Extensive experience with enterprise proxy solutions (e.g., Broadcom, Symantec, McAfee, Zscaler, Netskope).
• Hands-on experience with cloud proxy migration projects.
• Strong knowledge of ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access) principles and solutions.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
