Our client is a highly respected law firm with a robust employment defense practice, known for delivering exceptional legal services to its clients. The firm is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Employment Attorney to join their Sacramento team. This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned attorney to further their career in a collaborative and forward-thinking legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a caseload of complex employment defense matters.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, attend hearings, and participate in trials.
• Provide strategic legal counsel and advocacy on behalf of clients, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and contribute to case strategy, planning, and client communication.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and support staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 9+ years of employment law experience, with a strong defense background.
• Must be Bar licensed in California, in good standing
• Residency in or willingness to relocate to Sacramento, California
• Extensive experience with California employment laws and regulations.
• Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
• Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.
