This role requires a deep understanding of Linux systems, infrastructure management, and advanced troubleshooting skills to ensure optimal performance and reliability of their systems
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable Linux-based infrastructure solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Design & Implementation: Develop and deploy robust Linux infrastructure solutions to meet business needs
Ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability. - System Administration: Manage and maintain Linux servers and environments, including installation, configuration, and patch management.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure optimal operation and responsiveness
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. - Automation & Scripting: Create and maintain scripts for automation of routine tasks and system management
Leverage tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. - Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce security best practices
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability assessments. - Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams, including DevOps, network engineers, and application developers, to integrate and optimize infrastructure solutions.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in Linux system administration, with a strong background in managing large-scale Linux environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Expertise in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols
- Proficiency in Linux distributions (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)
- Soft Skills:

- Certifications (Preferred but not required):
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
