About the Job
Our Client, a Software Development company, is looking for Senior Linux/Kubernetes/Ansible Engineer for their Austin, TX/Hybrid location
Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain Identity Management (IDM) authentication systems and manage Satellite patching processes.
- Design, develop, and manage Kubernetes clusters, emphasizing automation and optimization. (AWX, ELK)
- Prioritize automation within projects, leveraging Ansible and AWX.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL procedures within ServiceNow and effectively use of Jira for project tracking and agile process management.
- Support virtualization technologies in addition to containerization with Kubernetes.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Unix/Linux environments, specifically in a Red Hat context.
- Proven expertise as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in IDM authentication and Satellite patching.
- Strong background in managing and supporting Kubernetes clusters with a focus on Ansible AWX and the ELK stack.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize automation (Ansible) in escalations or project execution.
- Familiarity with ITIL procedures and agile methodologies, including use of Jira and Confluence.
- Additional knowledge in virtualization technologies is desirable.
- We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior/Lead Engineer to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will have a profound understanding and extensive hands-on experience with Red Hat-driven environments, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Linux engineering.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications or Trainings in Red Hat (IDM, Satellite), Kubernetes or Ansible technologies.
- Experience in a senior or lead role, guiding teams and managing complex projects.
