Job Description: The firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join its litigation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex civil, commercial, and corporate litigation cases from inception through resolution, including trial and appellate work. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for an attorney with a passion for litigation and mentoring junior attorneys. The Senior Litigation Attorney will play a key role in shaping case strategies, managing high-profile cases, and working directly with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex civil litigation cases, including commercial disputes, and contract law.
- Oversee all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, and trial.
- Provide strategic counsel to clients on litigation matters and potential risks.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, trials, and mediations.
- Mentor and supervise junior attorneys, providing guidance and leadership in case management and trial preparation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective communication with clients throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- In good standing with the Ohio Bar Association.
- Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience, with significant trial experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage a large caseload efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage complex litigation cases from pre-trial through trial and appeal.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy abilities.
