SPA’s Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Air Force, Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defence Force. SPA’s Air Force and Army Programs Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning. We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness.
SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems Logistics Analyst onsite in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:Member will serve as a Logistics Management Specialist supporting the Command, Control and Effects (C2E) Product Office (PO) within the Program Management Office (PMO) for Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (UAS) assuring that critical actions are integrated and properly executed to provide a cohesive approach to logistics support requirements.
Individual is responsible for integrating separate functions to include funding, supply, maintenance, procurement, provisioning, transportation/transportability, new equipment training and fielding of assigned systems and/or equipment for the logistics management program throughout the entire lifecycle of assigned systems.
Duties and functions include but are not limited to:
- Appling knowledge and experience in DoD Acquisitions and specifications including the 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements to ensure product planning, development, acquisition, fielding plans, schedules, and strategies.
- Execute and apply COLTS and DPAS standards, training, and audits to ensure authorized Item Mangers are assigned appropriate roles and have required expertise within the automated logistics systems to accomplish their assigned supply support and sustainment logistics functions.
- Assist in developing and managing Memorandum of Agreement between Product Office and other Government agencies on maintenance related actions.
- Provide technical support on Uncrewed Aircraft Systems sustainment maintenance planning to include Field and Sustainment Level Maintenance planning, Modification Work Orders (MWO) planning and execution, obsolescence mitigation planning.
- Create contract modification documentation to transfer property between organizations and ensure traceability for government property from manufacturer to end user.
- Provide technical support on CLS/PBL sustainment contracts to include monitoring contractor performance on all maintenance related performance, deliverables, prepare and review contract modifications/Task Orders.
- Collaborate with other specialists to review policies, plans and procedures to ensure they are appropriately applied to daily operations.
- Coordinate and train unit personnel to comply with receipt, inspection, storage, and administration for expendable and durable equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree BS/BA and eight years of relevant experience
Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, and other standard (Customer specified) applications
- Experience using Catalog Ordering Logistics Tracking System (COLTS) and Defense Property Accountability Systems
DoD Secret clearance is required to start, and it must be maintained throughout employment
Travel:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. issued passport
- Travel is expected up to 25%
