Senior Logistics Analyst
The Moore Group is actively seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst in Norfolk, VA. This position is onsite at NECC/Little Creek.
Description:
- Conduct in-depth data mining and analysis within Non-Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) applications: Relational Supply (RSUPPLY) and Organizational Maintenance Management System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG)
- Perform troubleshooting and problem solving analysis of data extracts and databases
- Develop solutions and provide recommendations
- Provide assistance with performing reconciliation of databases
- Provide formal and informal over-the-shoulder training
- Provide on-site assists and review system procedures
- Prepare presentations and conduct briefings with military and civil service personnel at various levels
- Position requires some travel periods within CONUS and OCONUS in support of training, supply management inspections, and assessments
Required Qualifications:
- Subject Matter Expertise in Non-Tactical Command Support System (NTCSS) applications: Relational Supply (RSUPPLY) and Organizational Maintenance Management System-Next Generation (OMMS-NG)
- Minimum Education: Shall possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related business discipline
- Minimum Experience: In addition to the education requirements above, Senior Logistics Analyst must have a minimum of eight years of experience in a combination of Navy logistics and Navy logistics AISs management
- Education Equivalency: As a substitute, eight years of experience in a combination of Navy and logistics and AISs management. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category
- Must have a current DoD Secret clearance or higher; US Citizenship Required
Desired Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would also be;
- A former Navy Logistics Specialist with extensive experience utilizing RSUPPLY, OMMS-NG, Integrated Barcode System (IBS)
- A former Navy Instructor with NEC 9595
- Experience in End-Use procedures and/or Navy Expeditionary Forces environment
- Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and Configuration Management
- Familiar with Expeditionary Force Supply Operations
- Familiar with Expeditionary Table Of Allowances (TOA)
- Intermediate to Expert level experience in utilizing MS-Access and Excel in conducting data mining analysis
Salary: Commensurate with experience, skill set, references and contract guidelines.
Must have a current DoD Secret Clearance. Positions may require travel. For OCONUS travel a Passport is necessary.
