Senior M&A Network Engineer - Inceed

Compensation: $58-62/hr
Location: Houston, Texas
Position: Senior Network M&A Engineer 

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Senior Network M&A Engineer to join their team!

This exciting contractor opportunity involves supporting network integration for new acquisitions. This person will work on discovery, integration, and post-cutover support phases for network onboarding, helping create and deploy solutions for M&A network challenges. Travel will be required for critical project milestones.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct network discovery to assess existing site infrastructure (requires travel).
• Collaborate on the design and configuration of new network integrations.
• Assign IP subnets, configure VLANs, and prepare necessary network equipment.
• Develop bills of materials for network deployment.
• Participate in site cutover and provide post-cutover support as needed.
• Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades.
• Resolve support tickets in a team environment.
• Document network configurations and changes using Visio.
• Ensure system reliability and coordinate with vendors for problem resolution.

• Strong Cisco switching and routing skills in an enterprise setting.
• Experience following configuration templates and documented procedures.
• Familiarity with Cisco SD-WAN and Visio documentation.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Cisco ISE, Cisco FTD/FMC, Cisco Wireless, and Meraki experience.
• Relevant Cisco certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
