They are seeking motivated professionals to support impactful civic technology initiatives within the federal government.As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and integrating cutting-edge technologies
You will guide the team through prototyping and proof-of-concept development, assessing the benefits and risks of new tech solutions
In addition to leading technology adoption across the organization, you'll provide mentorship and leadership to junior IT specialists.
Our client is based out of Silver Spring, Maryland but this position is fully remote. Client Requirements:Public Trust clearance or US Citizenship and the ability to obtain said clearance
Key Responsibilities:Lead technology evaluation efforts through prototypes and proof-of-concepts Analyze and communicate the pros and cons of new tech solutions Perform roles as a developer, operations, and security engineer in cloud environments Drive enterprise-wide adoption of innovative technologies Mentor and provide leadership to junior IT team members
Required Qualifications/Skills:Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar 7+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in Python, machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), data manipulation with pandas, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) Strong communication and problem-solving skills
