Senior Management Analyst (Finance and Administration)
Municipality - Transportation Department
The Transportation Department supports mobility initiatives through services like transit, micromobility programs, and fleet management. The Senior Management Analyst (Finance and Administration) oversees the financial and administrative functions for the department, including budget management, grant administration, and procurement oversight. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations and manages audits and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational and capital budgets, ensuring funding for future operations.
- Manage federal and state grants, project expenses, and ensure compliance with associated regulations.
- Provide contract and procurement oversight across all department divisions.
- Oversee cash-handling functions, invoicing, and collection for fare revenue programs.
- Participate in multiple local, state, and federal audit functions.
- Serve as the Title VI Administrator and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Administrator.
- Coordinate with Finance and HR departments on budget preparation, accounting, payroll, and project administration.
- Supervise professional, technical, and clerical staff.
- Lead and participate in legislative analysis impacting transportation initiatives.
- Develop short- and long-term financial strategies and program plans.
- Ensure compliance with grant funding requirements and local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports, budget documents, and grant applications.

This position plays a key role in the fiscal health and operational efficiency of the department's transportation initiatives.
Additional Information:
1. Length of Contract: ~6 months (some flexibility)
2. On-Site, Possible Hybrid Flexibility
4. Work Hours: Full-time. Hours are 7:30am-5:30pm (including 1 hour break for lunch) on a 9/80 schedule, with alternating Fridays off
