Position Overview
The Senior Manager, Business Analysis will reimagine business insights, simplify workflows and drive business performance reporting processes within our Go-to-Market Finance organization. This role owns the business logic and key metrics for key Autodesk finance data and influences upstream policies and processes that impact finance data and reporting. In addition, understanding the business models and systems changes and how they impact finance metrics is key to enabling us to drive the business at scale.
This role will partner closely with other finance teams, other business/data analysts, data engineers and other members of the org. While the focus of this role will be on the upstream data systems and business logic, additional projects including wider business analytics and dashboard building may be required. We are a small team working to transform how finance data is used across Autodesk. We must coordinate our efforts both within our team and across the teams that support us, take on different projects as business needs change, and constantly manage scope vs. time tradeoffs to ensure we are delivering the most impactful results.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the subject matter expert for COO Finance upstream systems, policies, and processes
+ Partner with GTM finance teams to understand their planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management needs
+ Identify impacts of business initiatives on COO Finance data and processes
+ Work closely with COO Finance leads to gather requirements to ensure continuity of management reporting
+ Drive UAT for data sets and logic owned by COO Finance
+ Be the first point of contact for data and logic gaps, business metric changes and new metric definition
+ Drive governance for COO Finance metrics – definitions and logic
+ Reimagine processes, data structures, and dashboards for simplicity, agility, and adaptability to keep up with GTM innovation
+ Build and test prototype data products while partnering with corporate data engineering teams to build long-term solutions
+ Integrate your efforts into company-wide forecasting and planning processes and into the broader Business Architecture-led buildout of GTM Finance data
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field
+ Minimum of 8 years' experience in analytical fields such as consulting, finance, BizOps, business intelligence, data analysis or business analysis
+ Experience with SQL and large datasets
+ Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.
+ Strong abilities in project management, change management, and cross-functional influence
+ A good listener and communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
+ Experience working as part of a global team
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage tight deadlines
+ Articulate and concise with strong communication and influencing skills

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $138,400 and $223,850. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $125,600 and $172,700. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
