I. Position Summary
World Monuments Fund (WMF) is seeking a qualified professional for the role of Senior Manager, Campaigns to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team-oriented Development Department. Reporting to the Senior Director of Individual Giving and Development Operations, the Manager leads the overall management and coordination of WMF’s anniversary endowment campaign. The role encompasses both strategic and tactical aspects, covering all elements of a significant campaign, from the initial quiet phase to the public launch. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing fundraising strategies and initiatives that motivate multi-year stretch gifts, in close coordination with staff across global offices, and managing the campaign’s volunteer leadership bodies. Additionally, the Manager will play a critical role in supporting the coordination of a major anniversary event strategy. The successful candidate will be a creative, collaborative, energetic, pro-active individual with excellent organizational and communication skills.
This is a full-time, exempt position based at WMF’s global headquarters in New York.

II. Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy: Manage the global campaign strategy designed to raise critical endowment funds over four-plus years. Continuously evaluate and refine the strategy to ensure milestones are met.
- Pipeline Management: Develop and manage the global campaign pipeline, collaborating with frontline staff to create customized fundraising strategies for campaign donors.
- Lead on developing all associated materials, including research profiles and customized briefing and solicitation materials for volunteers and staff to use in solicitation meetings.
- Volunteer Management: Manage and communicate regularly with Board members, Campaign Chairs, Campaign Cabinet members, and other volunteers. Ensure they are well prepared to serve as ambassadors of the Campaign.
- Campaign Messaging Development: Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to develop the branding and messaging for the campaign. Develop stewardship reports, campaign brochures, newsletters, and other campaign communications in coordination with Development and Communications team.
- Event Coordination: Help to plan and coordinate fundraising-related events and dinners, particularly around an emerging anniversary initiative to bring together global supporters around WMF’s 60th year. Maintain the calendar of campaign events across global offices and proactively identify opportunities for greater campaign engagement.
- Campaign Administration: Oversee timely donor acknowledgements and stewardship, including drafting gift agreements, select donor correspondence, and thank you letters.
- Reporting and Communication: Produce detailed reports and analyses on fundraising performance. Provide regular campaign updates to volunteers and WMF’s staff team.
- Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships – with an emphasis on collaboration – within the Development team, as well as with colleagues in other departments and affiliate offices.
III. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7+ years of experience in development, campaign experience required.
- Experience working directly with trustees and major donors.
- Computer fluency in Microsoft environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Donor database experience, preferably with Raiser’s Edge
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with funders and board members and work well with staff at all levels
- Highly organized and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Ability to work gracefully under pressure
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends, as needed

V. Compensation and Benefits
The World Monuments Fund offers a comprehensive and highly competitive compensation and benefits package, including paid time off, wellness and sick time off, holiday time off, and a multitude of other insurance benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a fully comprehensive retirement plan.
The salary range for this position will be within the $80,000 to $90,000 range annually, based on commensurate experience.
