Job Purpose
The role of the Change Management Leader is to oversee the change management efforts of multiple strategic projects that have broad impact across the business. This role within the Operations PMO interfaces with executive leadership, corporate functional leaders, field operations, and consultants.
The Change Management Leader plays a crucial role leading and facilitating change management to drive adoption and sustainment of project outcomes. Their primary focus is leading the human aspects of change, encompassing shifts in business processes, systems, technology, job roles, and organizational structures. This role demands an experienced professional adept at successfully driving organizational change, cultivating a culture of adaptability, and enhancing employee engagement.
This role is an integral member of the Operations PMO, leading change management efforts for various program and field operations teams supportive of both transformational and continuous improvement approaches across and within the business.

What you will do...
1. Strategic Change Leadership:
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to assess the impact of change initiatives on various departments and teams.
- Assess the magnitude and timing of major changes, the organization's change readiness and the key stakeholders most heavily impacted by the change.
- Support creation of standard change management methods, practices, and tools as part of the Herc E3OS Body of Knowledge.
- Ensure adherence to all compliance standards and always operate with integrity.
2. Team Leadership and Development:
- Act as a change champion to promote use of change management as a key determinant of project success.
- Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring around good change management practices to senior leadership, project managers, and site personnel to increase their effectiveness in driving sustainable change.
3. Change Communication Planning:
- Design and execute communication plans that effectively convey the purpose, benefits, and progress of change initiatives to all stakeholders.
- Create plans that accommodate the needs of different stakeholder groups impacted by the change.
4. Metrics and Measurement:
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success and impact of change initiatives.
- Provide regular reports to project leadership on the progress of change efforts, identifying areas for improvement.
- Drive sustainment of project outcomes through effective change plans which promote effective knowledge transfer, process ownership, leadership alignment, and performance measurement.
5. Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks associated with change initiatives and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address resistance to change by implementing strategies to promote understanding and acceptance.
- Account for events that impact employees and review ongoing changes to identify too much change and potential change fatigue.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in the related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification of Prosci ADKAR model a plus
- PMP certification a plus
- Demonstrated understanding of change management methodologies, organizational development, and strategic planning
- Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated high degree of emotional intelligence & cultural awareness
- Financial and performance skills to ensure change efforts improve project performance
