The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of scientists and engineers in the research, development, and manufacturing of new and existing products. Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the CMC/R&D team, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
2. Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with company objectives.
3. Oversee the development and manufacturing processes of new products, ensuring they meet all regulatory and quality standards.
4. Collaborate with other departments to integrate new and innovative technologies into existing manufacturing processes.
5. Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
6. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
7. Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
8. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in technology, and leverage this knowledge to drive innovation within the company.
9. Prepare and present detailed reports on the progress and results of R&D activities to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the CMC/R&D department of a manufacturing company.
2. Proven experience in managing a team of scientists and engineers.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in research and development, and manufacturing processes.
4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
5. Excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to a variety of audiences.
8. A degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Science, or Technology is preferred.
9. Proficiency in relevant software and applications.
10. A strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
