Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Senior Manager Culinary Executive Chef specializing in Chinese and Taiwanese cuisine to join our Corporate Services team at our clients growing U.S. HQ campus in North Phoenix. This Executive Chef will be integral in delivering exceptional food experiences through authentic and contemporary Cantonese and Taiwanese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culinary Operations: Manage culinary operations for the Taiwanese and Cantonese cuisine station, overseeing menu development, recipe execution, and upholding high standards of safety and sanitation.
- Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of hourly cooks, providing training to elevate their skills and ensure quality and presentation in daily production.
- Menu Development: Create menus that reflect current culinary trends in Taiwanese and Cantonese cuisine, ensuring authenticity and appeal.
- Communication: Utilize fluency in Mandarin to effectively communicate with staff and clients, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Strong, hands-on cooking experience with Cantonese and Taiwanese cuisine.
- Culinary Skills: Ability to create healthful daily menus with a flair for innovative and contemporary Taiwanese and Cantonese dishes.
- Leadership: Proven ability to inspire and lead kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience required.
- Experience Requirement: Minimum of 3 years in a similar culinary management role.
