Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated operations leader to join our dynamic team. This role will be responsible for overseeing all fulfillment operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex operational tasks. This leader will oversee both internal and external omni-channel (D2C, B2B, FBA)  fulfillment. 

 Responsibilities:

• Establish, train and maintain a healthy and safe work environment onsite
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize productivity and efficiency, aligning with company goals and objectives.
• Provide leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Set clear goals and objectives, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Manage resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet operational requirements within budgetary constraints.
• Ensure that all products and services meet quality standards and regulatory requirements, implementing quality control measures as needed.
• Identify potential risks to operations and develop strategies to mitigate them. Implement effective risk management procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure business continuity.
• Oversee inventory control processes, including procurement, storage, and distribution, to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize shortages or excesses.
• Foster open communication channels within the operations team and across departments, ensuring effective coordination and collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining accurate records and documentation as required.
• Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement, and present findings to senior management.
• Oversee end-to-end retail fulfillment operations, including order processing, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize fulfillment processes, improve efficiency, and reduce order processing times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement and warehouse management, to ensure seamless order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify compliance gaps and implement corrective measures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, industrial engineering or a related field
• Proven experience in operations management, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and trends in operations management.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Experience in international distribution and 3PL leadership is a plus
