Global Trade (GT) requirements exist to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to economic sanctions and the export and import of products, services and technical data.




The Mission Systems Senior Manager is primarily responsible for acting as the Global Trade Relationship Manager (GTRM) and proactively work with the value streams/teams to provide strategic Global Trade (GT) guidance in support of business objectives/programs while maintaining compliance with all applicable GT regulations and company policies and procedures. This position will partner closely with Mission Systems senior leaders and value stream team members to understand program objectives, provide guidance regarding GT regulations, establish an authorization/technology transfer plan, and ensure plan execution to allow business requirements to be realized.




As a GTRM, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Collins Global Trade Program (training, policies, processes, implementation & metrics); using digital technology and physical safeguards to manage transfers compliantly and efficiently; ensuring compliant transfers of physical goods and intangible items; sanctions and embargo compliance and addressing regulatory and policy violations to prevent recurrence and drive continuous improvement. Project management and collaboration will be key to this role. This role will serve as a subject matter expert in Global Trade and must be familiar with both exports and imports. The position requires both a high-level understanding of the products and an intimate knowledge of the regulations surrounding their export and import, including U.S and Non-U.S. (EMEA) regulations as they may apply.




This role will be performed REMOTE from any Collins Aerospace location either domestic or remote.




What YOU Will Do:



+ Work with the value streams to identify authorizations needs and ensure that they are in place to support the needs of the business


+ Build strong and extensive working relationships and networks internally and externally


+ Identify and respond to program problems and leads solutions


+ Provide guidance to the business ensure compliance with the Collins Global Trade Manual and all applicable regulations, including the Export Administration Regulation (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulation (ITAR)


+ Support investigations and reviews of possible policy, procedure and/or regulatory escapes and disclosures

Qualifications You Must Have:



+ Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience


+ U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62



Qualifications We Prefer:



+ Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience


+ Program and project management skills and experience


+ Experience drafting DDTC and BIS authorizations


+ Demonstrated ability to multi-task, manage multiple deadlines simultaneously, and provide guidance and practical solutions to cross-functional projects effectively and on time


+ Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, in a fast-paced environment of rapidly changing demands

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
