Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy:
+ Develop and execute the cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with the organization's goals.
+ Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity architects and engineers.
+ Collaborate with senior management to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are integrated into the overall business strategy.
Architecture Design & Implementation:
+ Design and implement robust cybersecurity architectures to protect the organization's information assets.
+ Ensure security best practices are integrated into the design and development of IT systems.
+ Oversee the implementation of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions.
Collaboration & Communication:
+ Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
+ Communicate cybersecurity risks and strategies to executive leadership and the board of directors.
+ Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Five or more years of experience managing/supervising a team of direct reports and/or project management.
+ Five or more years of experience in cybersecurity
+ Proficient in security technologies and tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs).
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field of study.
+ Experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity architectures.
+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., NIST, CIS, ISO 27001).
+ Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, TOGAF) are highly desirable.
+ Excellent leadership and team management skills.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
+ Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Additional Information
+ This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

+ Position will require up to 10% traveling.
+ This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
+ US Citizenship required as part of Critical Infrastructure security protocols.
+ Relocation may apply to this position.
