Responsibilities Include:
Identify and manage critical processes for a better pipeline that supports the business
Be an internal Solar subject matter expert for cross-department projects and support
Support the operations team by providing clear and concise survey information.
The ability to communicate ideas and initiate change.
Developing key performance goals
Hire field personnel for local markets as required by needs
Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
Coaching, and mentorship of each employee within the Field Department
The organization and implementation of each piece of inventory including managing a system for warehouse and operations teams
Liaise with the executive team to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals
Coordinate with leaders and staff from different departments and provide constructive feedback
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation
Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors
Ensure that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulations
Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
Hire contractors and staff including construction laborers
Plan and direct construction activities in the field either directly or through utilizing Project Managers and Regional Operations Managers
Oversee field operations, production times, and ensure quality control
Manage and oversee BOM/BOS costs within monthly and quarterly budgets
Qualifications:
4-7 years of experience in the solar industry
Knowledge with a wide range of residential solar products (inverters, modules, and BOS)
Experience with the National Electrical Code (NEC)
Experience with the International Building Code (IBC)
Passionate about Solar technology and an evolving industry
Quality written and oral communication skills
Knowledge of residential construction timelines and financial costs
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Critical thinking and ability to solve problems
Ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and partners
Adaptability and comfort working in an unstructured and evolving environment
Experienced with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Excel, Microsoft
