We are seeking a creative, driven, and highly motivated Senior Manager of Manufacturing to join our team!
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Manufacturing will lead manufacturing operations and engineering. This position will provide the overall executive leadership and have the responsibility and accountability for staff, programs, and services with direct control and management of day-to-day operations. This position will plan and execute strategy in support of corporate goals and objectives. This leader will partner with sales to provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert, relationship builder, and project "closer."
This position is an enabler that removes obstacles for the machine operators, funnels accurate run time information to the application team, and assists quoting in producing accurate quotations that Ingersoll can execute.
This position is also responsible for lean and ISO manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead by example with a figure-it-out and take-ownership mentality.
- Superseed operations in MES department with a high degree of manufacturing leadership and technology.
- Create a productive and quality-minded work environment. Promote and provide structure and discipline to optimize productivity.
- Meet and communicate with customers to understand and improve current and future manufacturing needs.
- Lead administration of hiring, recommend pay increases, perform performance reviews, training and development of staff, resource management, and assign work.
- Maintain a workplace that is in proper working condition with the necessary tools and equipment available and with safety as a primary concern.
- Develops standards, processes, and tools used for effective project scheduling and to set and manage quality targets
- Analyze manufacturing data, check their accuracy, and put in place the necessary corrective actions.
- Drive project performances through continuous improvement methods.
- Define, implement, and monitor KPI for manufacturing processes.
- Work with Quality to improve the cost of poor quality and scrap rate.
- Meet regularly with the manufacturing team to implement new production techniques and toolings to improve efficiency.
- Responsible for Lean and ISO activities regarding the MES/maintenance department, including management of managing Planning/Scheduling/Lean Manufacturing tools/SW
- Support operatively, together with the entire MES Team, the Lean manufacturing strategy (5S+1, Preventive Maintenance Plan, TPM, etc).
- Create and document a technical training program for employee education, growth, and advancement in cooperation with HR.
- Develop short and long-term strategies and investment proposals that will allow the company to achieve competitive advantages and cost reductions.

- Must be able to work with all disciplines and levels of management; a strong team leader/member
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills, with discipline for complete project communications and documentation.
- Must have the ability to look and plan ahead to anticipate potential project deviations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Thorough understanding of the business and supply chain.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 1 to 3 years supervisory experience required
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at Ingersoll's facilities
