The Role
The Senior Manager of Operations at Inspira Education plays a crucial and strategic leadership role, overseeing the daily operations of acquired staffing firms and contributing significantly to the M&A due diligence process. This role demands strong oversight, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of staffing industry operations to ensure the successful integration and management of newly acquired staffing entities. Collaborating closely with diverse teams, the Senior Manager of Operations will provide guidance, enhance performance growth and efficiency, and ensure a high standard of service delivery across all staffing sites and the organization. This role can be located anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of operational strategies across acquired companies, ensuring alignment with Inspira's overall strategic objectives
- Participate in the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions, evaluating potential acquisitions and integrating them into the Inspira framework
- Develop and implement processes to ensure high standards of operational efficiency, quality, and regulatory compliance across all managed entities
- Provide exceptional leadership in operations of acquired staffing entities while promoting Inspira's culture, values, and behaviors
- Drive improvement in client satisfaction and employee engagement, retention, and performance across the organization
- Oversee and manage various projects to enhance operational performance, collaborating with finance, HR, and marketing teams as needed
- Continuously assess current processes and identify opportunities for improvement to enhance departmental functions and overall efficiency
- Utilize systems, analytics, and data to track and improve performance, driving commercial outcomes and measuring the impact of initiatives
Qualifications
- Experienced multi-site operator responsible for managing acquired small businesses within the staffing sector, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services in a regulated environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related academic discipline required, or additional related work experience (MBA preferred)
- 6+ years' of related work experience in operations or comparable management and supervisory experience within a staffing firm
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer, client, and employee satisfaction while achieving year-over-year growth
- Confident decision-maker with a proven ability to support change and drive innovation
- Secure understanding of the complex relationship between business, commerce, and service excellence within regulated staffing organizations
- Ability to develop and implement guidelines and integrate effectively to achieve success
- Skilled in planning and delivering strategy, utilizing systems and analytics, digital technology, and data to identify actions to turn around and improve performance
- Capable of driving commercial outcomes and measuring the impact of initiatives and work-streams
- Experience in developing high-performing teams, with a successful track record of supporting effective regulatory compliance, quality improvement, innovation, and service excellence
- Strong communication skills, capable of building relationships both internally and externally and maintaining trust and collaboration
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to go above and beyond to achieve organizational goals
