EisnerAmper is seeking a Senior Manager of Operations (SMO) to join the Firm’s EA RESIG: Real Estate Fund Accounting Practice. Seeking savvy and reliable problem solvers and are eager to make an impact
The SMO must comfortably and confidently manage the centralization of various siloed teams across EA RESIG to create one harmonious team with streamlined processes, control procedures, technology, and most importantly, shared values
This position plays a key role in helping to develop, lead, and implement the Practice’s Business Plan, with an emphasis on management, operations, and best practices, for the purpose of the continued growth of a healthy and profitable business and expand upon a culture of professional excellence
The SMO will report to the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and collaborate with the Partners and other senior-level leaders to help oversee the EA RESIG practice (currently consisting of over 150+ employees).What it Means to Work for EisnerAmper: You will get to be part of one of the largest and fastest growing accounting and advisory firms in the industry You will have the flexibility to manage your days in support of our commitment to work/life balance You will join a culture that has received multiple top “Places to Work” awards We believe that great work is accomplished when cultures, ideas and experiences come together to create new solutions We understand that embracing our differences is what unites us as a team and strengthens our foundation Showing up authentically is how we, both as professionals and a Firm, find inspiration to do our best work Numerous Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to support our Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I) efforts What Work You Will Be Responsible For:Work closely with the COO with periodic travel to the NYC Office.On behalf of the COO, triage incoming requests, respond to emerging issues, elevate and delegate with necessary care and attention.Advise and support the COO with the planning and prioritization of critical issues, enabling the leader to make efficient and informed decisions.Be the co-owner of the EA RESIG annual business plan, working in lockstep with the COO and Partners to execute the plan and make strategic changes when necessary.Understand the EA RESIG financial landscape and collaborate with key personnel.Understand how EA RESIG revenue impacts program budgets, technology, and staffing.Collaborate with team leaders and partners at EA RESIG to achieve budgeted profitability and create and maintain procedures for timely WIP review, billings and collections.Liaise with internal cross functional EisnerAmper teams (i.e., HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Finance, Learning & Development, etc.) to execute various Firm initiatives.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand short and long-term hiring needs, succession planning and workforce development.Challenge business requests when necessary and influence appropriate resolutions.Basic Qualifications:10+ years of experience in professional services firms, such as CPA, or financial services.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year institution is required. Certification in HR or Business Operations highly preferred.5+ years of experience in Resource & Utilization Management and profitability statistics. Proficiency with Resource Management Systems.Experience managing talent acquisition initiatives.Strong Performance Coach and Team Manager.Ability to navigate and operate in a fast paced, complex, and dynamic client services business environment and be adaptable in a continuously growing organization Strong ability to analyze data to recognize trends and diagnose business health.Highly organized and adaptable individual with acute ability to prioritize effectively.Ability to influence multiple constituents and establish trusted working relationships.Highly personable individual comfortable collaborating with Firm Executives.Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, and Teams software.About our EA RESIG Team: For more than 20 years, the EA RESIG team has focused on working with medium- to large-sized funds across every asset class in the real estate world
