Senior Manager of Technical Accounting - Virtual Company

About the Job
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the company’s accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP and ensure they are complete, accurate, and appropriate to support the business
- Perform technical accounting research related to business transactions and process using GAAP research tools and the FASB codification; document accounting conclusions with relevant support
- Manage SOX controls framework to ensure that it is complete, accurate and the controls continue to support the business operations
- Manage the company’s SOX scoping on a global level to support management’s assertions
- Work closely with auditors and manage auditor request for quarterly reviews and annual
- Create and perform analytical reviews of external and management results
- Collaborate closely with peers, managers on process improvements, system and reporting enhancements and analysis of monthly and quarterly results
- Manage and complete special accounting-related projects as necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- CPA required
- Public accounting or technical accounting research experience
