Senior Manager, Sales Play Activation
The Senior Manager, Sales Play Activation will be a strategic contributor to the Sales Play Activation team, responsible for developing and producing high-quality solution and use case content that drives sales and business growth. Reporting directly to the Sales Play Activation Director, this role will play a pivotal role in creating compelling content that supports the seller journey and aligns with overall business objectives.
Responsibilities
Create and manage a variety of content assets, including solution and use case briefs, whitepapers, customer stories, presentations, and sales enablement tools
Collaborate closely with the Sales Play Activation Director, Enablement Team, and Sales to develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with business goals and drives engagement with target audiences
Provide content support for marquee sales events, such as annual sales kickoffs and quarterly sales campaigns
Contribute to the creation and management of a content calendar to ensure a consistent and timely flow of high-quality content
Oversee the editing, proofreading, and quality control of content produced
Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness, identify trends, and inform future content strategies
Core Competencies:
Understanding Seller Journey and Enablement: A deep understanding of the sales process and the ability to create content that effectively supports sellers at each stage of the buyer's journey
Content Creation: Proven expertise in creating and managing a variety of content formats, with a strong understanding of best practices for effective content creation
Content Strategy: Ability to contribute to the development and implementation of a content strategy that aligns with business goals and drives engagement
Creativity: A creative mindset and the ability to generate innovative and engaging content ideas
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
Specific Skills:
Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of industries such as data center, cloud, networking, security, and virtualization
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with content management systems, collaboration tools, and content analytics tools
Content Marketing: Deep understanding of content marketing best practices and strategies
Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and business needs
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in content marketing, sales enablement, or a related field
