Job Details
We are seeking a highly skilled Interim Senior Technical Revenue Manager who can "hit the ground running" and work with minimal supervision. This role reports directly to the Director of Revenue and is responsible for evaluating and managing contracts from a technical revenue perspective, including compliance with ASC 606 standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contract Evaluation: Analyze new contracts from a technical revenue perspective to ensure compliance and accurate revenue recognition.
• ASC 606 Compliance: Work with specific allocations under ASC 606 to determine the appropriate revenue recognition methods.
• Performance Obligations: Assess and monitor performance obligations associated with each contract to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Contract Review: Perform thorough contract reviews, including assessing complications and inclusions for disclosures under policy 59.
• Technical Analysis: Conduct technical analysis, prepare position papers, and make necessary amendments to existing contracts.
Must-Haves:
• Public Accounting Experience: Proven experience in public accounting, ideally with one of the Big 4 firms.
• Complex Contract Management: Strong background in handling standard and non-standard complex agreements.
• Revenue Recognition Knowledge: Deep understanding of ASC 606 revenue recognition principles and standards.
• Experience in Revenue Recognition Systems: Familiarity with revenue recognition systems or software that support ASC 606 compliance.
• Industry-Specific Experience: Background in industries where revenue recognition can be complex, such as technology or SaaS
• Advanced Analytical Skills: Proven ability to handle intricate technical analyses and create clear, actionable reports or position papers.
• NetSuite experience
