Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

$90 - $135K + 3.5-7% quarterly bonus

Aegis Worldwide is partnered with a large client in the custom manufacturing industry looking to hire a Senior Manufacturing Engineer! This role includes a 6% 401K match, unlimited PTO, and a wellness program. This person will spend 75% of their time on the shop floor, working with machinists and troubleshooting. The remaining 25% will be writing procedures, creating standards, improving processes, and doing documentation.

Must have’s:

· 7- 10+ years of experience in a machining environment

o 10 years would be ideal, but finding someone with that many years could be a bit tricky

· Proficient in CNC machining – most importantly how to create a part from scratch & being involved with the process of running a piece for the first time

o Dominik wants someone that can troubleshoot any issues, whether it be the actual part OR the machine

· CNC Lathe experience

o The shop has more Lathes than mills so lathes is a MUST and knowing Mills would be icing on the cake.

· Programming CNC Machines in a CAM software – they use Esprit but Mastercam or any other CAM software would work

· Proficient GD&T – this person must come from a highly precise industry.

Nice to haves:

· Someone that understands secondary processing (Processes to protect the surface of the metal parts) -if candidates are closer to the 120k range this person MUST have an understanding of secondary processing.

o this includes deburring, engraving, heat treating, plating, painting, anodizing, or NDT

· Experience overseeing the whole manufacturing process from start to finish.

o This is important because there are manufacturing engineers who only work on PART of the process- we need to make sure we get a good idea of what each person is getting their hands on regarding the process/ what improvements they are making

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering

· Understanding of CNC Tooling

· Created or made improvements to the manufacturing process.

· Experience in the Aerospace industry

· CAD and ERP experience
