Mission: Participate, as an individual contributor and Technical Lead in an engineering team, applying sound engineering principles to develop, customize and/or sustain TDW products and services solutions for customer applications.
Accountabilities:
- Applies sound engineering principles in developing industrial, manufacturing and product design-for-manufacturing/assembly solutions.
- Develop manufacturing processes including urethane casting, and assembly for Pipeline Pigs and Pig Signaler products
- Design control plans to ensure maintenance of product quality
- Support or lead capital projects
- Support and lead continuous improvement projects
- Work with operations and maintenance to identify production problems and provide corrective actions
- Produce technical deliverables (e.g., numerical analysis of process variables, correlation of process to quality evaluations, test reports, analysis reports, etc.) for manufacturing processes
- Modify the manufacturing process to facilitate product updates
- Improves technical knowledge by reviewing technical papers/literature and attending appropriate seminars and workshops with the intent of applying latest technology to TDW manufacturing.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in an Engineering discipline, - Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial
- Strong understanding of process control (numerical analysis of data, control charts, regression, correlation, process capability)
- Knowledge of processing equipment (general industrial equipment, industrial ovens)
- 7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing
- Proficient in FMEA, manufacturing processes, problem solving tools, and machine design principles,
- Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, KATA etc.)
- Experience with engineering change processes
- Good written and verbal communication skills,
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
