We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at our outstanding Energy client. This is your opportunity to make a significant impact by working on critical Mechanical Discipline projects.

- Create comprehensive design packages, develop conceptual designs and specifications for bidding purposes, and evaluate alternatives.
- Serve as the Lead Technical and/or Responsible Engineer for assigned projects, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
- Follow field implementation, develop revisions, complete post-modification testing, and oversee the turnover of design products.
- Work closely with selected vendors, AEs, designers, and internal teams to coordinate design efforts and conduct design package reviews.
- Develop and validate setpoints for mechanical systems and components.
- Perform evaluations and analyses of mechanical systems and components, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in nuclear utility operations.
- Current qualification as a Modification Engineer under an INPO Accredited Program is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Consolidated Asset Suite for design and work order development.
- Ability to obtain qualifications as a Modification Engineer and Design Verification Engineer prior to independent work.
- Demonstrated ability to exhibit sound technical judgment and provide guidance to the engineering and implementation team.
- Proven capability to solve complex engineering problems with limited supervision and work with increasing independence.
