Senior Mechanical Engineer - Gpac

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer/Team Lead to join their DC office. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to step into a leadership role on exciting, yet complex projects locally, nationally and overseas!

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Science & Technology, University, Mixed-Use and more!
• Participate in recruiting efforts across the firm
• Provide mentoring and direction to junior team members
• Incorporate sustainable design methods in buildings and prepare green rating system documentation
• Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation and controls
• Maintain strong client relations as it pertains to project delivery and repeat business

Qualifications

• Professional Engineering Degree in Engineering required from an accredited four-year university
• P.E. License is Required
• 15+ years of experience with HVAC Design/Engineering
• LEED AP BD+C preferred
• Familiarity with BIM
• Ability to monitor and manage project budgets
• Business development capabilities.
• Demonstrated knowledge in sustainable design
• Project Management and supervisor experience preferred
