Job Summary
Provide technical expertise in the identification, investigation, and resolution of plant operating, safety, and design issues to ensure plant reliability and availability.
Job Responsibilities
+ Monitor, trend and assess systems and components to improve reliability
+ Establish system performance for designated systems. Identify and prioritize corrective actions to ensure system, safety, reliability, and availability
+ Lead cross-functional teams to manage/resolve long term system performance issues
+ Ensure system readiness and compliance with design/ license basis
Job Specific Qualifications
REQUIRED:
+ BS Degree in Mechanical/Chemical/Industrial/Aerospace Engineering.
+ Minimum of 10 years related industry experience
+ Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Familiar with mechanical engineering concepts and operations
+ The candidate will need to demonstrate flexibility with changing priorities and adaptive ways of doing business
+ Available for Shift Work. Must meet Nuclear requirements for Unescorted Site Access.
DESIRED:
+ Greater than ten years of experience in Nuclear Power Plant Engineering
+ SRO license/certification or System Engineering
+ MS or PE
