Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Medicaid Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive business processes and requirements for EVV implementations, focusing on gathering and documenting business needs, facilitating joint application design (JAD) sessions, mapping business flows, and producing the business requirements document (BRD). Experience in Provider Management and Provider Enrollment is a significant plus.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions with key stakeholders to gather and validate business requirements for Medicaid EVV systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and map out business processes and workflows, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with Medicaid requirements
• Develop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRD) by translating business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications
• Analyze and assess existing business processes to identify areas for improvement and ensure that EVV solutions meet operational goals
• Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams, ensuring clear communication of business needs and technical requirements
• Participate in solution design sessions and support project teams in ensuring timely and successful implementation of EVV systems
• Support system testing efforts by creating test scenarios and reviewing test results to ensure alignment with business requirements
• Provide post-implementation support and assist in the resolution of any issues that arise during the transition to production

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Management, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Medicaid or healthcare IT projects, with a focus on Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) systems
• Strong knowledge of Medicaid policies, particularly those related to EVV systems
• Experience with Provider Management and Provider Enrollment is a plus
• Proven ability to lead JAD sessions, gather requirements, and create detailed business process flows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with both business and technical stakeholders
• Experience in creating business requirement documents (BRD) and functional specifications
• Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies is preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with federal and state regulations governing Medicaid EVV systems
• Experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or similar healthcare systems
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
