Senior MicroStation Designer - Colliers Engineering & Design

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior MicroStation Designer to assist on a variety of public and private sector infrastructure projects in our Buffalo and Rochester offices!

• Produce CAD drawings for new or reconstructed bridges and structures
• Prepare quantity take-offs from CAD and surface model files
• Prepare reinforcing bar detailing for reinforced concrete structures
• Apply and integrate various client CAD standards into CAD templates
• May develop 3D CAD models for substructures, grading and alignments/profiles
• Assist the engineering and project management team with the development of CAD design methodology and practices
• Perform drawing QA/QC on work products from other CADD design and engineering staff

• Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or a related discipline
• 5-15 years of CADD bridge/structure design experience
• Proficient in Microstation, AutoCAD or Civil 3D
• Willing to work independently and with others as a team member
• Interested in work in a team setting with strong collaboration skills
• Proficient in written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.

Compensation: $34.00-$47.00/HR DOQ
