Our client is looking for a Senior National Accounts Manager to sit in one of the offices in the Northeast/Mid-Atlantic. This person must have a strong history of client account management and success in environmental consulting and engineering services. You will be expected to nurture and grow client relationships. They are an industry leader with a reputation for excellence in providing environmental consulting, engineering, compliance, and technical field services to clients in diverse market sectors

- Lead major proposal efforts, develop client/project capture plans. Participate in project scoping activities and proposal presentations.
- Build strong relationships and interact regularly with key clients, teaming partners and stakeholders linked to the market.
- Continuously interact with clients assuring satisfaction with Company services and work closely with project delivery personnel to ensure any service issues are identified and addressed in a proactive manner.
- Engage in industry groups and actively participate in committees and/or Board governance.
- Mentor staff and grow the team and work portfolio.
- Reinforce collaboration and team building, ensure client focus, demonstrate commitment to excellence and innovation, and motivate others to ensure positive morale and engagement Provide input on business development priorities, budget and expenditures.
- Negotiate favorable contract terms and conditions and achieve cost of sales, gross margin, backlog, and other related financial and business goals.
- Support the identification and mitigation of risks and commercial terms during the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
- Experience:10+ years of related high-level client management experience, 15+ years of total professional and project management experience in consulting engineering firm or related service.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology or Environmental Engineering Disciplines (Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering) related field.
- Proven business development and project management experience.
- Business acumen related to project management, portfolio financials and risk management.
- Understanding of sales pipeline management and hard and soft backlog growth.
- Demonstrated existing relationships with the Industrial/Commercial Market Sector client base
