Technical Skills:
- Must have worked on project involving migration of datacenter from cloud to cloud or on-prem to cloud.
- Cisco/Juniper LAN/WAN technologies (Routing & Switching), Aruba/Cisco/Meraki Wireless technologies.
- MPLS technologies, SD-WAN Technologies from Cisco Viptela/ Silver Peak, VeloCloud / Versa.
- Firewall Technologies from Cisco/Palo A lot/Fortinet/CheckPiont, Zscaler Proxy
- Load Balancing technologies from F5 & Netscaler
- 8 or more years of experience with designing, integrating and troubleshooting IP networks.
- In depth knowledge of IP addressing, subnetting, routing protocols (i.e. OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, etc.), MPLS, QoS, Multicast, VPLS and VPRN.
- Experience on cloud technologies to design and implement Firewalls, Gateway, Load Balancers, on AWS and Azure.
- Experience on Datacenter technologies like ACI, NSX, Leaf & Spine and SDN technologies.
Process Skills:
- This professional architect, designs, integrations, tests, troubleshoots IP networks to successfully deliver IP networks to our clients.
- The architect typically leads teams of designers, integrators, and test engineers in the delivery of the most complex customer projects.
- The architect finds innovative solutions to the most challenging customer requirements and problems.
- The architect is current with IP protocols and standards and how to apply them in a wide variety of customer environments.
- Assist Service Orchestration Management with the development of roadmaps for implementations related to Network services.
- Review and approve technical designs, specifications and statement of work documents.
- Consult, Troubleshoot and Solve IT infrastructure issues working with Business, IT partners and various IT teams.
- Innovation Management: Embrace innovation and drive IT partners to create, plan and implement innovative network and security infrastructure based on approved concepts, designs and according to IT policies and guidelines.
- Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language appropriate to both executive and managerial audiences.
- Architect works in a consultative manner with the customer to gather appropriate information to create an IP architecture and detailed design.
- Creating HLDs/LLDs for enterprise networks, Data Center and Cloud architecture.
- The architect is the trusted advisor with the customer, advising the customer to make architectural, technical and business decisions that meet the customer's business objectives.
- In addition, the architect needs to maintain deep hands-on technical expertise to assist technical teams in resolving issues in lab and production environments in high pressure situations. This includes all aspects of implementation including configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in IT- Infrastructure Projects. Infrastructure domain knowledge is essential
- Knowledge in preparing / developing project schedules, estimation, establishing measures and milestones, definition, scoping, tracking etc
- Experience in managing projects through use of processes like risk management, quality management, Issue/problem management & Scope change management
Behavioral Skills :
- Ability to effectively manage relationships with other infrastructure teams, application teams, stakeholders, business and customer representatives.
- Organizational skills with attention to task details, documentation and target dates.
- Effective interpersonal, team building and communication skills
- Must know when to ask for assistance. Must be approachable, teachable, a team player with a strong desire to continue learning and expanding their experience in a highly evolving technical environment.
- Must have good time management skills and be able to meet rigid and urgent assignment schedules.
- Proven ability to influence the definition of technical strategies and design solutions
- Bachelor s degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.
- 8 + years of relevant experience in design and implementation with good analytical skills.
- Must have excellent communication skills, flexibility to travel and run the show as individual contributor
- Certifications like CCIP, CCNP, CCIE (R&S), Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Fortinet
