Looking for a Senior Network Engineer in Milwaukee Wisconsin (Onsite)
The client is looking for a Senior Network Engineer with substantial experience and expertise in network administration, design, and troubleshooting. Key aspects include:
Responsibilities:
- Adherence to SLAs and ensuring maximum uptime.
- Mentoring team members and handling escalated technical issues.
- Conducting root cause analysis, managing tickets/requests, and ensuring process compliance.
- Responsible for installations, configurations, migrations, and maintaining test environments.
- Providing suggestions for new technologies and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Managing and monitoring SLA requirements, testing, and auditing processes.
Technology Expertise:
- Proficiency in routers (Cisco, Avaya/Extreme, Juniper), switches, firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet), and WLAN technologies (Cisco, Aruba).
- Knowledge of tools like Infoblox for IPAM, Riverbed for WAN optimization, and Bluecoat for packet shaping.
- Strong experience with load balancers (F5 Big IP LTM/GTM), Cisco Nexus, Juniper SRX series, and Fortigate.
- Capable of troubleshooting routing protocols like EIGRP, OSPF, BGP.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in network administration in large enterprise environments.
- Industry certifications (e.g., CCIE R&S, CISSP, ITIL v3/v4).
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining LAN/WAN architecture, data center technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
