Job Title: Senior Network Projects Implementation Lead
Location: Cranston, RI
Position Type: Contract 4 Months with possible extension
Work Status: US Citizen/Green Card/GC-EAD
Rate: DOE (W2 only)
Skills - Data Networking Operations; experience in a large NOC and/or Network Incident Management Center
Basic Qualifications:
Leads technical implementation and testing of network components in Large Enterprise Data Center network - predominantly Cisco with Nexus platform, Cisco ISR/ASR, Cisco 650x platform, Cisco ASA/FWSM and Palo Alto devices supporting large Physical and VM server environment.
Minimum 10+ Years Networking Experience; must have led delivery of a network infrastructure project, or a large scale network operations function. Experience with designing medium to large multitier networks is a big plus. Financial institution experience is also plus.
Candidate must have a strong understanding of Cisco routing, switching and security protocols and products.
One or more of the following certifications is required - CCIE, CCNP, CCSP (CCNP-S), CCDP.
Expertise with few of technologies like QoS, NAT, ACL, AAA, BGP, OSPF, AVPN, SSL and IPSec VPN, SNMP, NetFlow is required.
Experience and advanced insight with Nexus platform e.g. 2K/5K/7K.
Experience with few of the following is desired: F5 Big IP LTM/GTM, Cisco Client, Cisco Wireless, F5 Firepass/APM, Zenoss, Algosec, QRadar, Palo Alto Firewalls, Gigamon.
Professional Qualifications:
Excellent understanding of networking and firewall technologies
Ability to troubleshoot complex network problems and failures.
Ability to lead a team of professional of varied experience.
Ability to lead several projects at any given time.
Strong interpersonal skills. Desire and willingness to mentor and coach junior team professionals.
Strong analytical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Working knowledge of group dynamics
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
