About the Team: Our team of passionate network engineers develops and operates global high-performance backbone and hybrid cloud connectivity services. We use carrier-grade technology and automation in order to provide the highest flexibility and the best time to service for our business demands.
What you can look forward to as a Senior Network Routing Expert:
+ Evaluate, propose, architect, and implement network solutions in globally interconnected Data Center Networks in addition to providing day-to-day technical expert guidance regarding existing solutions and critical escalations.
+ Assist Network Platform management with project planning and development of a rollout/implementation strategy for the global High-Performance Network.
+ Serve as a technical escalation point for third-level support for services provided by the global Network team including the final escalation point within ZF for the regional Data Center LAN and routing through the global High Performance Network Backbone.
+ Analyze the global routing infrastructure for optimal project rollout/implementation.
+ Communicate technical concepts, information, and service-related topics to all levels of the organization.
+ Adhere to global IT standards and coordinate related activities with global IT teams.
+ Develop working relationships with internal and external business partners.
+ Adhere to and ensure compliance with ZF standard processes, procedures, and systems.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
*Willingness/ability to travel up to 20% (both domestic and international)
*Ability/willingness to meet flexible schedule arrangements per customer requirements (i.e. off-shifts)
Your profile as a Senior Network Routing Expert:
+ Bachelor’s Degree, Computer Science, or related experience
+ 7+ years of experience in network routing, switching, scripting/coding and network automation
+ Experience in a project management capacity in IT Networking
+ Deep technical knowledge of networking, routing, OSI model, VPN, firewalls
+ Working knowledge of enterprise or service provider level IT environments
+ Working knowledge of Data Center IT environments
+ Proven analytical abilities in addition to strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
+ Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-pressure environments
+ Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel and management
