Job Duties: Perform and document technical functions relating to test, quality control, lay-out, fabrication, modification, and assembly of mechanical or electrical equipment and/or components. Perform electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, and developmental design duties for engineering of new products. Identify, design, and develop necessary equipment related to new product development. Study existing processes to implement improvements on new products. Prepare and manage process and test specifications. Assist technicians and engineers with unusual problems. Responsible for purchasing and designing equipment that meets safety and environment requirements. Develop new manufacturing and assembly processes consistent with Design for Manufacturability for new product introductions. Continuously seek automation opportunities of new and existing processes to reduce costs and improve quality. May supervise, coordinate, and technically revise the work of a limited group of technicians. Communicate business related issues or opportunities to next management level. Ensure personnel and company compliance with all applicable federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures. Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Engineering Management, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires experience with :
1. Developing new medical technology products with respect to leading and driving execution of design for manufacturing including component manufacturing within the principles of DMAIC, GMP, and GDP ;
2. Designing experiments with SPC (Statistical Process Control) methodology and statistical procedures ;
3. Production processes including validation, improvements, standard costs, and work standards ;
4. Planning, coordination, execution, implementation, and timely completion of project deliverables ensuring consistency with company policies, procedures, and commitments ; and
5. Developing innovative workflows to generate compelling technical evidence of product or project performance under challenging conditions.
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
