Senior Offensive Cyber Engineer - PeopleTec, Inc.

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Offensive Cyber Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.

PeopleTec is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Offensive Cyber Engineer with a strong technical background in offensive cyber operations, RF technologies, and emerging cyber threats. This position will be based in Huntsville, AL, and involves developing, deploying, and refining cyber-Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) to counter evolving adversarial cyber and RF threats. The Senior Offensive Cyber Engineer will lead technical offensive cyber initiatives within the T&E community, collaborating closely with the Intelligence Community (IC) to develop and test realistic threat representations and prototypes. The role is a lead position and will support leading a small team of mid-level and junior offensive cyber analysts.

Duties:

• Provide high-level technical mentorship to a team of junior and mid-level offensive cyber analysts, guiding them in threat modeling, adversarial simulation, and penetration testing.
• Perform technical analysis of emerging cyber threat technologies, focusing on offensive cyber capabilities and RF exploitation techniques.
• Design, implement, and test offensive cyber TTPs use-cases for use in T&E events, with a specific emphasis on RF-enabled cyber and multi-domain warfare scenarios.
• Participate in cyber threat working groups for T&E stakeholders
• Lead and develop a physical cyber lab at multiple classification levels
• Research and develop prototypes to provide realistic threat representations for the T&E community. Specific to emerging technology to include electromagnetic spectrum TTP(s)
• Brief DoD senior executives on emerging cyber threats affecting T&E assets
• Develop use cases for emerging cyber technology and TTP(s) with a focus in multi-domain warfare
• Analyze finished intelligence from multiple sources within the IC community to provide recommendations and prototype test development on adversarial threat trends in cyber
• Analyze cyber threat finished intelligence from the IC community to develop tailored threat briefings for the T&E community
• Ensure all technical solutions adhere to DoD security and compliance regulations
• Conduct advanced penetration testing for commercial clients, applying sophisticated offensive techniques to identify vulnerabilities and validate security defenses.
• Provide strategic cyber guidance for the organization.

Required Skills/Experience:

• 8+ years’ experience within the cyber field with a majority of that experience supporting offensive cyber operations
• Strong technical experience and background in networking protocols, cyber OCO, and other cyber related fields
• Some experience with Electronic Warfare(EW) Technology or hands-on experience with GNU Radio, HackRF, and similar RF tools for signal manipulation, protocol exploitation, and TTP development.
• Extensive experience in understanding adversarial cyber threats, TTPs and mitigation tactics
• Strong leadership skills
• Ability to develop multi-domain cyber strategy and vision
• Minimum certification in: Security+, CISSP, or any IAT Level 2 certification
• Minimum certification in one cyber practical certification: OSCP, PNPT, PJPT or other related certification
• A data-driven approach to problem solving and communications
• Ability to balance urgency with sound decision making and careful execution
• Ability to balance business and technical objectives when making decisions
• Ability to balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication, problem solving, and analytical skills is a must
• Have a positive, can-do, user-centered attitude
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for T&E support, stakeholder coordination, and on-site assessments as needed.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• An active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Top Secret clearance upon hire, and must be eligible for SCI and CI poly.

Education Requirements:

• Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in information technology, computer science, information systems, computer engineering or related field.

Desired Skills:

• Ph.D in cyber security, computer science or any other cyber related field
• Extensive experience analyzing cyber threat intelligence from the IC community
• Demonstrated experience in RF technology and electronic warfare, along with a solid understanding of network protocols and their exploitation
• Strong understanding of cyber and electromagnetic spectrum technologies
• Experience in T&E prototype solutions, specifically cyber, emerging technologies
• Knowledge and experience developing cyber lab
• Strong technical experience in computer networking and protocols
• DoD Red Team operator experience
