The Senior Operation IT Specialist will be responsible for the stand-up and maintenance of stand-alone networks (including server, host, and network components) used for data collection, processing, and analysis. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for conducting integration and system level tests (including, but not limited to, integration testing, failure mode testing, performance testing, and burn-in testing), producing test plans and procedures and generating test result reports for customer approval and acceptance.
Required Qualifications:
Clearance Requirement: This position requires ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance, based on current background investigation (SBI). Required Qualifications:
- Active TS
- 7 Years of experience in operational/field IT support. An additional 7 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with network setups (switches, wireless access points, etc.).
- Ability to design, develop, test and deploy complex UDP and TCP/IP networks that interface with multiple physical layer protocols.
- Knowledge of common System Administrator tactics, techniques, and procedures
- Ability to technically define non-technical requirements and formulate actionable, operational plans accordingly.
- Technical writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Active TS/SCI w/polygraph
- Python and/or Ansible experience
- Ability to read and understand electrical and low voltage/cabling schematics.
