Position Title- Oracle EBS Analyst II
Location- Saint Louis, MO (M-F (8 to 5, Hybrid 2 days a week)

Job Description-
This role involves leading and supporting the development, maintenance, and deployment of functionalities related to the company's Oracle E-Business Suite, with a specific focus on General Accounting and Financials. The position requires collaboration with both business customers and the technical team to identify, design, and implement Oracle E-Business changes aimed at enhancing business processes and effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and assess business requirements, determining approaches to meet them using Oracle capabilities and customizations.
- Formulate recommendations, business cases, and estimates for new functionalities and changes to enhance business processes and application performance.
- Develop, test, and implement new Oracle capabilities, customizations, and configurations.
- Investigate issues related to Oracle E-Business Suite functionality, data, and interfaces, implementing resolutions.
- Collaborate with business customers to identify improvements, alternatives, or new capabilities for organizational benefit.
- Document and estimate specific requests for new capabilities, assisting in assessing their value to the organization.
- Document Oracle Business Suite configuration, support information, and customizations following Metro IT standard application methodology.
- Work with Metro infrastructure, database, and other application development teams to ensure proper unit, system, user acceptance, and performance testing.
- Assist in the orientation and training of Oracle end users/customers.
- Mentor other IT team members appropriately to facilitate their professional growth.
- The role involves a 40% focus on functional tasks and a 60% emphasis on technical aspects.

- Ability to document requirements, recommendations, estimates, and system information clearly and concisely.
- Experience working in a team environment and ability to work independently and set priorities.
- Ability to work with business customers and understand their processes and functions.
- Full life cycle development experience.
- Ability to investigate reported issues and determine potential changes and solutions.
- Ability to investigate data, applications, and processes and determine problem sources in a complex environment.
- Ability and interest in staying current on Oracle E-Business suite and technologies.
- Understanding of information technology and Oracle standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite modules, interfaces, and technologies.
- Mandatory:
- Functional configuration experience in at least one of the following Oracle E-Business Suite modules (preferably release 12.2+): AR, GL, FA, Projects and Grants.
- Technical understanding of Oracle tables, APIs, and development guidelines
- Experience providing day-to-day end-user support.
- Ability to develop and debug complex SQL queries and PL/SQL packages.
- Knowledge about a few of the RICEWF objects like: Oracle Reports, BI Publisher reports, Forms and/or OAF Extensions, Interfaces, Workflow,
- Special consideration will be given to the following:
- Working knowledge of Oracle cloud technologies and tools.
- Experience working with Oracle Analytics Cloud
Education: B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience required.
Experience: Minimum of 4 years required (mid-level).
