Job Details
Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the firm's professional activities, including client intake, trial preparation, etc.
- Handle litigation matters from inception through trial with minimal supervision
- Draft complex pleadings and motions, and argue discovery and dispositive motions.
- Formulate and develop case strategy, advise clients on risk mitigation and pre-suit resolution options
- Conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and handle other details for comprehensive case management
- Manage the discovery process and supervise junior attorneys and staff members with document review projects
Qualifications:
- At least 4-6+ years of litigation experience in state and federal courts with significant courtroom experience
- First chair experience preferred; second chair can be considered
- Mediation and arbitration experience is preferred
- Portable book of business preferred
- Knowledge of the laws and rules, as well as state and federal court procedures
