Deltona Alliance Church (DAC) of Deltona, Florida is searching for a new Lead Pastor. DAC has been blessed to experience many years of effective ministry under the current leadership. We are looking for someone to lead the church into the next phase of ministry within our immediate and surrounding communities.

The primary responsibilities of the Lead Pastor are to communicate the “whole counsel of God for equipping the saints for ministry.” Second, to provide strategic direction and oversight to the congregation for its efforts to participate in the Great Commission of Jesus to reach the world with the message of the gospel. Third, be the most visible example of what a fully formed follower of Christ should look like to the people of DAC.

This position requires a minimum of 15 years of shepherding experience, at least five years of which should be in a congregation greater than 300 in average attendance. Additionally, a candidate should possess at least five years as a primary preaching/teaching pastor (pulpit preaching, life group leader, youth pastor, etc.). The candidate must hold credentials with The Christian & Missionary Alliance or be willing to work towards acquiring C&MA credentials and be committed to upholding Alliance distinctives. The ideal candidate should show a career-long habit of continuous theological education and formation (formal or informal).

Deltona, Florida is located in the heart of Central Florida’s Volusia County, 25 miles north of Orlando and 30 miles southwest of Daytona Beach. It is a popular spot for outdoor activities such as kayaking, fishing, historic sites and museums. The primary industries in Deltona include tourism, healthcare, education and retail. Deltona is a welcoming place with plenty of sunshine, community events and outdoor activities.
