We are looking to hire a SeniorPayroll Specialist for our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and assistance to other members of the team and serve as back-up support.
- Lead the processing of weekly certified payroll on all customer requested forms and standard forms as requested.
- Collective bargaining monthly reporting.
- Manages the internal and external audit requests pertaining to payroll.
- Maintains all collective bargaining agreements, wage rates, benefit rates, and employee clear-ins.
- Maintain accurate employee records.
- Maintain company level tables for local union records, home local records, and fringe and wage tables.
- Routine time and payroll record audits.
- Weekly internal labor reporting.
- Calculate and prepare layoff / termination checks.
- Oversee all union audits.
- Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary.
- Responsible for all reconciliations related to union fringes and deductions.
- Compile complex reports as required by management, union, and government agencies regarding employee payroll issues.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years payroll experience within the construction industry.
- Construction multi-state and multi-Union payroll experience,required.
- FPC or CPP designation, preferred.
- Well versed in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Thrives in a fast paced, diverse team environment.
- Experience with Timberline/SAGE 300/CMIC Payroll is a plus.
